Laust Impex was founded in 2012 by Laust Offergeld in Berlin. We enjoy collaborating with people and companies that have a drive for new ideas and conceptions in the field of products, design, sales and marketing.

Experience

The initial years after the inception were mainly focused on consultancy work for German clothing company A Kind Of Guise, co-founding a new inception of the brand and building it into global recognition.

I consulted Berlin-based fine jewellery label The Medley Institute on a similar basis for about two and a half years.

From 2012 to 2015 I also worked with brands such as Porter Yoshida, Grenson, HIGHTIDE and a few others, consulting on brand strategy, regional and global sales.

From 2015 to 2018 I worked with innovative Australian company Bellroy and the progressive Swiss luggage brand QWSTION, helping them grow and establish the position on the German market.

In 2017 I started working with the exciting and innovative Australian brand Orbitkey and remain with them on the task of growing the business in Germany to this day.

Recent years has seen TAIKAN, Timex Archive (until this unique project was folded end of 2021),  Elmer by Swany and FUTUR come and go, while Edmmond Studios, Etonic1876, Mephisto1965, Merrell Lifestyle and Goodies Sportive joined the fold.

Stomping grounds

Prior to the inception of Laust Impex, my stomping grounds were five years—2007 to 2012—at the Copenhagen fashion institution Wood Wood from their Berlin outpost, being first involved with retail and events followed by three and a half years in global sales and distribution.

In retail I was involved early on with the development of the Wood Wood Flagship Store in Berlin and a large variety of projects with Parra, Pool Gallery, Nike, Arkitip, Ace Hotel, Adidas, Converse, Asics, Comme des Garcons, Porter Yoshida, amongst others. I headed the launch of the temporary Porter Yoshida Store in Berlin. I initiated the Wood Wood Annex shoes and accessories retail concept.

In wholesale I handled several regions of Europe, Australia & New Zealand. I additionally headed the set up the Asian market distribution of the Wood Wood brand.

In the distribution department we worked with brands such as Happy Socks, Uslu Airlines, Perks And Mini, AIAIAI, Head Porter & Head Porter Plus (now RAMIDUS).
